ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Looking for the perfect winter getaway? Maybe an early Christmas present to yourself or a loved one? Join Hunt To Eat and Project Upland in sunny, southern Arizona this December for a Hunt Camp that could only be described as a quail hunter’s dream. This hunt is for new hunters or experienced hunters who would like to learn how to hunt upland birds; no need to bring your own bird dog as they are provided.
This experience offers an educational element you won’t find anywhere else. You will have the opportunity to be immersed in conversations specific to conservation, hunting ethics, firearm safety, and what it means to be a steward of the land. That is only the beginning; you will then be put into a small group with an experienced educator/handler, along with their dog, to set out after some Arizona Gambel’s, Scaled, and Mearns Quail, as well as chase after some jackrabbits and cottontails.
After the hunt, you will be given detailed instructions on how to clean and process your take for the day, including packaging instructions, to ensure your prized meat makes it home in good shape on Sunday afternoon.
Your accommodations include: room and board at a fully furnished Bed and Breakfast, three meals a day (excluding Thursday and Sunday evenings), appetizers and drinks upon your arrival to camp along with several gift items, and some Hunt To Eat swag to take home with you at the end of camp.
Escape the winter cold and join us in Arizona this December to soak up some sun, bag some birds, and start your hunting journey with an amazing community.
